Just some more pages

Still trying to catch up on all our pictures. I did finally print off about 30 pages and was very pleased with how they came out. I am thinking about buying another scrapbook program to have more options so if any of you have any ideas of a good one let me know!

Redecorate a little of the house

Scotty and I decided to do a mini revamp of our home. I never really did get Adas room the way I wanted it so we decided to finish that off. It required a trip to Ikea and when you go into that place you always come out with things you didnt go in to buy. So we got a few new things for our living room as well.We got this mirror which matches our couch almost perfectly! And the nice magazine holder on the wall. I love it cause we don't lose our remotes now. Also Ada can't reach them.

I found this sign and candle holders at Hobby lobby and I loved it. And then the shelf over by the door I made. I added the picture frame with one of my fav pics of Ada.

Scotty was nice enough to hang some shelves in Ada bugs room for me. I made the letters that are over her bed. Got a cute new night light for the nightstand
There is the magnet board we found to hold her letters and numbers to get them off our fridge. I was very excited about this cause they are always all over my kitchen floor. And the toybox we painted that Grandpa Cotner made her. Now it matches her room.
I thought these shelves were pretty cool and we got the extra bed side table to hold more toys. Now she has books all over the place and she is constantly asking to read them.

Heres a couple pictures of my two favorite people playing together. I love to watch them. Its so nice having him home again!

She helps mommy vaccum the floor! She loves to tickle daddy!

Got my hair done!

Yesterday was such a nice day! I decided that it had just been way to long since I got my hair cut or colored so I thought I would go ahead and splurge and Scotty agreed. So my friend watched Ada Bug for me and I headed off to the Salon. It took FOREVER!! I forget that when you have long hair it takes like twice as long! Not to mention costs a little more but thats ok. Anyways I got to sit there and enjoy myself and be baby free. It was really nice and I love the way my hair turned out. The picture is hard to see just cause the flash kinda washes out the color but I got a little blonde and a little red added to my brown hair. Im loving it! Then Scotty and I took our friends out to dinner last night at Olive Garden. It was so yummy! Ada loved her pasta but to bad Scotty forgot the left overs! I was looking forward to that for lunch today. Oh well! On another note, Scottys unit STILL hasn't come back yet. I feel bad for all the wives cause they keep changing the date on them! Poor ladies :( But once his unit gets home then they will do reintergration and then send them on block leave. A whole month off to spend as a family! Im very excited for all the fun stuff we have planned!

On another note. Bug has yet another little boyfriend. I have made good friends with Christen here and her son is the same age as Ada, just a few weeks younger. The two of them love to be around eachother. Ada can say Charles, his name, and asks for playdates with him all the time. Its really cute. They both have a little bit of trouble sharing toys with one another but were working on it. Its fun to see her interact with kids her age. And speaking of Charles were about to head out the door to the library with him and then maybe wazoos for some fun. Im very blessed to have such a smart little girl. Its such a joy to see how much she grows and changes. She is doing a million times better with her stomach issues. No more throwing up and she has regular diapers now. Only a few days and shes almost all better! So we have started to work on potty training with her. Any of you out there have advice Im open for it. Also she can count to five and has all her colors down. She has a HUGE vocabulary. She knows please and thank you very well now. She can tell us when she is hungry or tired. She loves having daddy home and talks about him non stop when he is gone at work. Its just amazing to watch her grow up. I love this little girl!

We finally got an answer..or atleast we hope

Well today we went into the doctor and weren't to sure what to expect. We knew we were getting the results back from a lot of tests that they have been running on Ada and to be honest, I was kind of scared. I didn't want to be told that something was wrong with her. Well I guess we got lucky. Today we found out that the reason for all of this mess goes all the way back to her 1 year old appointment when I asked the doctor about Adas diaper rash. She had a bad diaper rash that had grown into a yeast infection as they typically do with little girls. Well they gave me some creame and sent me home. Come to find out that this yeast infection traveled up into her stomach and intestinal track and has been growing and breeding in there for 7 months now. When the GI doctor we saw in Utah gave her a prescription to kill any bacteria in her system all it did was kill the good germs because of the already existing yeast infection that no one had caught on to, and in the process caused a nasty intestinal infection on top of the yeast infection in her stomach. So basically all of this has just been reacking havic on her little body and making her throw up and have chronic diaherra and not able to absorb any nutrients from her food. Needless to say I was very angry to find out it was something so simple that the doctor should have treated at the same appointment I got the creme from. And I was also irritated that no doctor until now has even thought to check for something so simple. I understand there was a lot going on and they were trying to solve the problem, but she has been sick for quite a while just because they forgot to give her both medicines for something very basic and very common in little girls. On the other hand I am so relieved to know that its something simple, and treatable. Ada is on two antibiotics and a topical creme again and I should see some drastic changes in about 3 to 4 days. If not then this isnt the answer, but lets just all pray it is. Only one problem is that one of the antibiotics is in pill form and no matter what I have tried putting it in she can taste it and gags on it and throws it back up. So I am going to have to call the doctor in the morning and see if they can give it to me in a different form cause thats not helping at all. But it sounds like everything will be fine with her in a few days and she will be back to eating normal foods and gaining weight and no more throwing up! And hopefully our diaper bill will go down!

On another note we had a good day today after this appointment. We got out Adas new swim pool and played outside in the sun. It was alot of fun. The neighbor came over with her son Luke and the two kids played for a few hours. Then Scotty came home and grilled out on the BBQ. I am loving every minute of having him home and I look forward to all the fun things we are going to get to do this summer. On a downside, I got burned today, and for those of you that know me thats not normal. Only time I can remember getting burned is when I was pregnant with Ada and the doctor said it was due to all the hormone changes...hmm wonder what that means?? Cross our fingers!

Some pictures I have finally got to load

Well I have been slacking a little on posting pictures of things. I couldn't seem to get blogger to upload them and I dont know why. Well this morning it decided to let me so this is me playing catch up. A couple weeks before Scott got home Ada and I went to a childrens day on post. It was a lot of fun. They didnt have that much to do for kids Adas age but we were able to ride a pony, get a free shirt and balloon and a few toys. Get some free pizza, and run around and play a little. They also had a petting zoo that Ada had fun at, and a big huge soccer ball and goal that the kids could play with. After we got done we ended up going to burger king cause Ada was saying she was hungry again. She was being a goof ball with her burger king crown. Then we got some ice cream and she really enjoyed that. Then we headed to the park to play. Needless to say it was a long and fufilling day!

No idea, but she just decided to crash out in my yarn basket. Thought it was kinda cute.

Here are the pictures from Easter morning before Daddy came home. Ada got three baskets this year. One from Mommy and Daddy, one from Grandma Debbie, and one from Grandpa Chris. She loved everything she got from them, especially all the candy!
