A new job
Well I started watching a friends kid full time this week. Her name is Isis and she is almost 4 years old. She is the daughter of a guy that Scott works with and I absolutly adore the kid. We have had a lot of fun already since she has been here. Her and Ada get along pretty well and they both love the puppy. I have to play referee sometime but otherwise its pretty much a cake walk. I like having both girls cause it keeps me even more motivated to take them out and do things that are fun for them. So far we have played at the park and set up the pool at our house this week. Today we are off to Wazoos to play with some other kids and then tomorrow we are going to the community pool. Also we made home made playdough and had a blast playing with that. The best part is I am bringing in a little extra cash to help out the family. I think Scott will eventually blow it all on car parts but hey whatever keeps him happy right?

Oh other big news, I am soon to be an aunt again and again and again lol. My sister in law Jenn, (Scotts sister) is in the Ukraine right now hopefully picking up one, if not both of her girls that she is adopting. Masha and Nastia. May only be Nastia at the moment but eventually they will have both. And then my other sister in law Lynnette is prego with her fourth baby. I am a bit jealous cause we are trying to get pregnant right now but I am also thrilled for them. I know they have wanted four kids so now I guess they will have that and be done. Sadly her husband, Scotts brother Brian, is deploying on Friday. We will keep him in our prayers. We know how hard deployments are. Well I think thats all the exciting news for now.

Fun times and new family addition!
Well Ada and I got the opportunity to go and play at a local gym. Its called Texas Tumblers and they have an open gym for preschool kids every friday for 5 bucks. I met up with another mom there and the two girls had a blast! Ada really liked running around and playing on everything. She would jump into the foam pit with no fear and then she would get stuck and I would have to help her out. She also walked the whole length of a floor level balance beam all by herself. I was pretty impressed with that. She liked all the trampolines and she especially loved swinging on the rings. She has some pretty impressive upper body strength for how little she is. Anyways she had a blast and I will def. be going back. Except that starting tomorrow I am going to be full time watching a friend of ours little girl. She is 4 and a sweetheart and I look forward to having fun with both kids now. We already have plans to go to the local swimming pool and to wazoos this next week. I am going to have one busy summer! And I'm looking forward to every minute of it!

Also we got a new addition to the family. Scott and I decided to get a small dog that is mine and Adas before we get to Colorado. He will yet again get his big dog when we get there. Who knows what he will pick. But I got a doxon/chiwauah mix. She is a little girl and we named her Roxy. Ada loves loves LOVES her! I think it was the perfect choice for right now since she is nice and small and will stay that way. I am just not ready for another big dog yet! But we love pets and we love having a dog as a part of our family.

The Waco Zoo
Scotty and I decided that we would squeeze in one more good family day before he had to head back to work. So Monday we headed up to the Waco zoo, since the Austin zoo was kind of a bust. Ada had yet to really see the good animals like elephants and giraffes. From the web page the Waco zoo looked much nicer and boy was it! Ada had a blast. She walked alot of the zoo on her own without the stroller which I know she really liked. She especially liked the monkeys! They wouldn't come out to much cause they were in the trees seeking shade but when they did she thought they were just great. And when they were hiding she would sit there saying come here monkeys! It was so cute. Daddy got her some fish food and she got to feed the fish which she also really enjoyed. They had alot of animals all which were out and about which was nice. All in all a good day. Scott offically is back at work now. So its back to just Bug and I playing! She has already asked for Daddy a number of times this morning. I don't think she quite understands that he has to go to work.

Seaworld and Childrens Museum Trip
Well our little family just had a great couple of days. We have been talking about taking advantage of the fact that SeaWorld offers free tickets to the military and their families once a year. We know that we are leaving Texas soon and we didnt want to go before we took that advantage and had a fun trip to SeaWorld. Well we decided now was the time. So we packed the kid up along with our friend Liz and her two kids and headed out. We decided to stop in Austin the first day and go to the Childrens Museum there. Ada has been to Omsi, Portland Childrens Museum and the Salt Lake Childrens Museum and loved each of them so I knew she would have a good time. And we got lucky and admission was half price! Ada really had a good time there. She really liked playing on the slide and playing with the golf balls that you put in different toys and watch them plink their way down. Liz has Bubba (Brian) who is two and him and Ada play really well together so they had a lot of fun exploring things. It was so much fun to watch her play and see her little mind work. Each time we take her places she is getting older and so she is understanding better the things that she can do. But she is also getting so independent and just wants to run off on her own and do what she wants to do so she can be a little handful. But we had a lot of fun.

After the kids museum we got in the car and headed to San Antonio. Once we got to the hotel we took the kids swimming. We got Ada some little floaties that go on her arms for a buck at wal mart and oh wow! They were the best investment EVER! She LOVES the water!!! She was having so much fun! She was swimming all on her own. She kicked her feet and kept her head above the water! It was so fun to watch her. I had no idea she was already that good at it. She is so comfortable in the water! After swimming we headed to dinner and then it was night night time!

The next day we headed off to Sea World! We had a lot of fun there. We got to see the dolphins and watch the Believe killer whale show. Ada really liked that. Scott and I really enjoyed that show as well. Neither of us have been to Sea World so this was just as much a trip for us as it was for her. Unfortunatly the day got really hot at this point so we took a break and ate some lunch. Well by the time lunch was over the weather started to turn bad. Scott and I were able to ride one ride, it was a water ride. And then lightning struck and they closed all the rides and the shows. So sadly we only got to see the Believe show but hey atleast we got to see that. We still walked around to all the animals and the kids enjoyed seeing all of them. They also have a kid area that we let them run around at and play in the water and stuff. Also Ada rode her first two carnival rides. She wasn't to sure about them. All in all we had a great day and a good time! It was such a fun trip!
