Crafts

I finally re organized my craft area after Ada had gotten into it and destroyed it. Well while I was going through things I found some ideas of things I had wanted to do but never did as well as a lot of supplies I forgot I had. So I decided to do a couple crafts. I decopoged Adas wipes holder to match her bedroom and I made a frame with the letter A in. Its all done in cloth and ribbon. I like the way both of them turned out and it was a lot of fun to do a craft again. I have a million more ideas of things I want to do as always but I can only do so many things at once. Oh yeah, and only so much money to buy craft stuff :)

More B-day presents

Well today we got more presents for Ada. Grandpa Chris and Tiffany sent Ada a box of goodies and she had a great time opening them. They got her some really cute winter clothes which she is in need of so I am thankful for them. And they got her a fun abc learning toy. She really likes it. She has been dragging it around since she opened it and all I can say is I am glad it has a lower sound level button or I might have to make it disappear every once and a while. Thank you so much for all the wonderful gifts. She really really loved the Dora card too.

The Start of the Birthday

Well Adas birthday isn't until the 5th but some cards and gifts have already started to trickle in. The big one so far is the new trike that Grandma sent her. Thank you! She absolutely loves it and asks to go ride outside all the time. She likes putting on her helmet and she is starting to get the hang of pedaling. The trike is just the right size for her and two of the neighbors have the same one but in boy colors so she always knows which one is hers. I haven't got any pics of her outside riding on it. I need to do that but here are a few from right when we gave it to her.
Lynnette and Brian also sent her a new stuffed monkey that she is fully attached to now. Thanks guys! She used to carry around her little monkey we got her at the zoo but she decided this one is bigger therefore better. She has to have it when she is relaxing or going to sleep. She just really really really likes anything to do with monkeys. I have been asking her about Halloween costumes lately and I keep showing her all the cute fairies and ladybugs and stuff like that but all she wants is the little monkey costume. But what can I say, it fits her perfectly!

Playing in the rain!

So Texas has some pretty sweet rain storms. I love to sit out on our porch when its lightning and thundering outside and just watch the storms roll through. They are some of the prettiest sights I have seen and it truly makes me remember how big this world is and how small I am in it. Well the other day we had one of these storms but there was no lighting. Ada kept saying rain at the window and I thought what the heck! We ran outside and played. It was probably one of the funnest times we have had in a long time. Scott was out there with her first cause I wasn't sure if I wanted to get soaked but then I decided I would. The neighbors across the street came out too and Taylor, Alleigh, and Ada all played together. We got out buckets and dumped water on each other. Everyone had a great time! Scott kept kicking water at Ada as she would run away and she thought it was the funniest thing. Then she would dump water on daddy's head. We got out some bath time boats and let them sail down the road. All and all it was a fun day. I am just waiting for the next storm to blow through and do it again! Pictures aren't that great. I didn't want to get the camera wet!

We're Moving!

That's right! Colorado here we come! We finally have official orders that put our report date at Oct 10th. So we will be heading out at the end of next month and man I have a TON to do!! Scott has decided that he wants to do this move ourselves. I guess I am ok with that because he claims he will be helping with all the packing (We'll see) So I have been starting to go through everything and get things organized and also ready to have a garage sale here in a few weeks. Hopefully make some money to help with the move and less stuff to move. I am very excited about being closer to family. Salt Lake is only an 8 hour drive which means for long weekends and holidays we can try and visit his siblings some.

Also Ada got her first haircut just the other day. I finally decided it needed a little trim. We took her to my friend Cara and she did a great job. At first we did some little side bangs but they were bugging Ada so I went back and just had bangs cut. It looks really cute and makes her look alot older if you ask me. My baby is growing up way to fast!!!

After:

Yesterday was Scotts Birthday. We actually celebrated on Saturday. We got a sitter and went to see Transformers finally and then met up with some friends at the Bdubs and watched the MMA fight. It was a lot of fun but I was so tired by the end of the night I could hardly keep my eyes open. Yesterday I got Scott some sushi which he was excited about and also got him some new shoes. He decided that he wanted a good burger for his bday so we went and got Fudruckers last night. Can't believe my husband is in his late 20's haha.

Well other than that not to much here. Trying to get things ready for Ada's upcoming birthday. We are doing a joint party with her friend Charles. I am very excited about it. We already got her her presents and I can't wait to give them to her. It should be a lot of fun. She has quite a few friends here so she should have a good time. Thats all for now

Oops!

Ok I am not sure how it happened but I guess that the post about Scotty was in some crazy font or something. On my end it read just fine. I think I fixed it now but if not someone please tell me! Thanks!

Baby Update

Well I had another OB appt. It was supposed to be my first appointment with my midwife, where they do the head to toe exam and just make sure everything is ok. Go over all the blood work etc etc. Well I told the midwife about the whole ultrasound thing and how I have yet to see my baby and its making me just a bit nervous. She was so amazing. She said lets forget todays appointment and just go ahead and do another ultrasound and see the baby and the heartbeat and put me at ease. I was so shocked! Military doctors are never like that! Anyways, I got to see my little baby and it was amazing. It made it all sink it just a little more. I could see the little arms and legs and the heartbeat just fluttering away. I was so relieved that everything was ok. She changed my due date to March 13th. Other than that everything is looking great. I am still pretty sick most days and super tired but only a few more weeks and Ill be in the second trimester and won't have to deal with that (hopefully!) My next appt is on Aug 26th so I'll post again if there is any updating. I can't wait to find out what this little baby is going to be. I am so ready to start shopping and making baby stuff but I can't until I know if its pink or blue.
