A quick update

Well I just wanted to jump on here real quick and let everyone know that we are almost out of this place!!! YAY!! I could care less to ever see Texas again! Well, more specifically Ft. Hood! Ugh. Tuesday we are pushing out and getting on the road. We plan on taking two days to make the trip so we don't have to rush or drive to long. I invested in a nice portable DVD player for the back of the head rest to help Ada out along the way. Because....WERE OFF THE PACI!!!! Thats right folks, no more pacifier! Yay! Its been a rough few days but each day its getting better. She is learning to fall asleep without it. She hardly ever asks for it anymore. Well other than that not to much. I am about to pack up this computer so there won't be any posting till we get there and get settled I'm sure. Wish us luck on finding a house we love quickly. We have one prospect at the moment and will know more monday so fingers crossed! Hope everyone is doing good and we will have the same numbers for now so give us a call if ya need anything!!! Oh and my last OB appt is monday before we push out so if something crazy comes up Im sure I will let you all know

Adas 2 Year Pictures

Sears was running a special where they brought in all these really pretty fairy costumes and a new background for two days. I thought this would be a good opportunity to capture Ada at her 2 year mark. I really love the way the pictures came out! And don't worry I ordered enough to send out to family. Just have to wait till they come in.

More projects and 14 weeks prego pic

I decided to make a few of my friends some gifts before I head out of town. I am still working on some but here are a few that I have made.
This is one of the finished baskets.

Memo board I made for another of the baskets

This was in the first basket. And this is a sign that I made for above my sink. I know that there is no point in hanging things up right now but hey I couldn't help it once it was finished. Plus I plan on keeping the same color scheme in colorado.
And this is me at 14 weeks 1 day. Not to much of a change really.

I snapped this picture with my phone and just thought it was too cute not to share.I have been enjoying the rain and gloomy weather. Makes me feel right at home and I am so ready for fall and winter and in Texas its still 90+ most days.
Can't wait for Colorado and cold winter days!

Finger Painting

Decided to break out the finger paints today. The girls had a ton of fun. And surprisingly it was really easy to clean up. Gotta love Crayola washable! I think they both decided that it was funner to paint their body than the paper...guess that was my fault for asking Ada where her belly is lol!!

Birthday Pictures

Birthday Girls donut breakfast Playtime at Wazoos

Cupcakes with Daddy and Mommy

YUMMY!!!

Name plate, felt food, and new wreath

Just a few more projects I have been working on lately. I made a name plate for my friends little girl. We are going to make a sweet army one for her little boy next. I think this is the style that I will use for my baby once I know what I am gonna name it. This project only cost $10 and those things sell for like $40 or $50 online.

Also for Adas birthday since we got her the kitchen set I made some play food out of felt. I saw this idea online but people were charging a lot for it. It only cost me a couple bucks for the felt, and I already had thread and stuffing. I was pretty pleased with how it all came out. I am still working on more of it.
And then I went and switched out my summer flowers for fall flowers on my wreath. I also added a new bow but I took the picture before I got it. Flowers cost me $4 bucks at dollar store and since I reused the wreath and the ribbon was only $1 at walmart, it was a $5 dollar project. I have seen wreaths like this in hobby lobby for $40, so again, good prices. I like to keep it cheap!

Adas Birthday!

I cannot believe that my baby girl turned 2!! Where in the world has the time gone?!? It seems like just yesterday I was heading to the hospital to have her. Now she is walking and talking and just full of personality. She is such a smart little girl and can make just about anyone smile. She is such a goof and such a sweetheart. She is very strong willed and independent. And although this causes a few problems here and there I wouldn't have it any other way. She is so darn stubborn sometimes but at least she is someone that knows what she wants and I know later in life that will be a great quality. She loves to spend time with her friends and playing outside as much as possible. She is so darn creative and loves to help mommy on all her projects. She is the joy in my life and I just never knew that life could get this good. Scott and I are so blessed to have such an amazing wonderful kid to call ours. I can't wait to see what a great big sister she is going to be to her new little sibling.

We did not have a party for her yesterday because we are doing a joint party with a little friend of hers on the 19th but we decided that we couldn't just let her real birthday go unnoticed. We started off the day by getting some donuts for breakfast. Of course Ada picked out the chocolate with sprinkles. She pretty much just ate all the chocolate off it and left the donut. After breakfast we headed to Wazoos for some play time. She has so much fun in that place. For a good half hour she just went up and down on the big slide. A few of her friends came along to have some play time with her. Of course after that it was nap time. When she got up we had all her friends over for cupcakes. And to open the gift from mommy and daddy. A few of the friends even brought gifts too. Scott and I got her a kitchen set with a bunch of play food that she really loves! She also got a doll that has a bottle that she really sucks on and a lap top computer for kids and some dress up stuff and some new clothes. All in all it was a great day and she had a lot of fun!

I will post pics later they just aren't working right now.

What can I say, I love crafts

I saw this adorable idea on another blog and I thought it would be fun to make. Its an apron that I am going to give to Ada with her kitchen for her birthday. It only cost me $2 to make! And only about 15 mins. I also made one for the neighbors little girl cause she got play food and stuff for her birthday. Its made out of a dollar store placemat! Can you believe that! Just had to share!

Start of my second trimester

Just thought I would go ahead and put up a picture as I start my second trimester. I have been feeling a lot better lately which is very very nice!

I have also started to work on a few baby crafts...what a shock lol. I have started to make some burp cloths but since I don't know the sex I am just making 6 in each sex and whatever the baby is I will keep and the other six I will put on etsy or gift to someone I know. These are two of the girl ones I have made so far. I really need to find out what it is so I can really get to work on the baby quilt and other things.

Hope everyone is having a good week!
